That hurt! First overall at the #PineBarrensTriathlon today, but not by much. Needed the fastest overall bike and run to barely take @stevenvitabile at the finish.
Great races for @nsalenetri with a second place overall and 2nd place AG for Paulie! TOUGH COURSE. Swim was crowded, bike was windy, and the run... rolling sand and pine needles (and a bit long? I hope 😅).
Swim, came out with the chase group in my wave. Was happy I was able to stay in a group the whole time. Bike, was solid 26.7 mph through some solid winds. Still think I need more reach, never enough. And the run legs were flat, again. Could have been the vacation, but also could have been the tough course and hard biking. Gotta find my run legs soon!
